Monday…

How did it feel to wake up this morning? Did you wake up excited about the start of a new week? Did you wake up feeling anxious and grumpy?

Get control over your Monday! If you woke up feeling anxious and grumpy, there are 2 things you can do to change that.

1. Change what you are doing in your life immediately.  If the thought of going into your job today gives you chest pain, and you continue down that road for long enough, it will consume you.  Do not be afraid of change.  Embrace it.

2. Change your thinking about what you do!

“The secret of happiness is not in doing what one likes, but in liking what one does.”
James M. Barrie

If you simply must do what you are doing, but it has been leaving a foul taste in your mouth, you need to change your thinking.  You do have control! Start by changing every negative thought you have about what you do into a positive one.  Stop complaining about where you are, especially if you are not prepared to make a change.  Be thankful for what you have and you will start enjoying it!

There are only 2 choices.  Start your Happy Monday plan today.

Namaste!

Imagine that.

“Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!”
Dr. Seuss
Just “think” about what you could do! The possibilities are endless, and the only thing holding you back is you.  Let yourself imagine what you could do without restrictions or fear.  Go for it! Namaste!

Use your Imagination

“When the imagination and will power are in conflict, are antagonistic, it is always the imagination which wins, without any exception.”
Emile Coue

Your imagination will win any logical argument that you may have with yourself.  So, make sure that you use your imagination to get what you want, instead of what you don’t want.  Imagine yourself doing the things you want every day.  Live from your goals.  Think about your dream house, dream car, dream career, dream lover everyday as if you already have those things in your life.  Your imagination will make sure that you make the right choices in your life everyday to get those things.  You have the power in your own mind to create everything you could ever dream of.  So start thinking BIG, and BIGGER! You can have it all.  Namaste.

Ask Questions.

You do not need to know everything, but there are things you need to know! Start asking more questions, and be sure to ask the right people the right questions.  Choose your information sources carefully.  If they have done it before, they will be more likely to give you the right information.  Namaste!

You can do it.

Do not expect others to fix your life for you.  Ask for guidance, and mentoring, but realize that you are the only one that can change your life.  And you have the power within you to change your life starting right now! You have already been given everything you need to succeed…now take it and run with it! You can do it.  Start today by smiling at yourself more.

Help People, and get help.

Always think about how you can help the people you meet in your life.  The more you help others, the more help you will start receiving.  Ask to help others! And ask for help! We have trained ourselves to believe that asking for help make us weak.  Go farther than you could ever go on your own by getting some quality help in every area of you life.  This will truly make you more powerful.  Namaste!

Communication is key.

Communication is the key in any relationship.  Communication requires that you express yourself honestly, and also be able to listen carefully.  It requires that you take turns, and be respectful, and not take things personally.  It also requires that you ask for clarification in a non emotional way when you simply do not understand where someone is coming from.  If you are too emotional, it is always better to indicate that you need to walk away than to stay and say something you might regret.  The goal is to have each party involved in the communication feel that they have been heard, and that there is understanding.  Fixing a problem may not necessarily be a required result of communication.  Take the time to appreciate where each person involved in the communication is coming from and it will help you respond in a way that will help everyone.  Think win-win for everyone involved.  Happy chatting! Namaste.
