Not Just Another Manic Monday

Good Morning! Want to start your Monday off smoothly, instead of Manically? You have to start planning for Monday on Sunday! On Sunday, write a list of things you will want / need to get done on Monday. Then, do as much prep work for Monday on Sunday. Prepare lunches, pick out clothes, get coffee / tea ready to go, tidy up, put things in the car you will need for Monday. You will sleep so much better on Sunday night! Then on Monday morning, make sure you get up early enough to NOT FEEL RUSHED. Mondays just got a whole lot better. Namaste!

Turn that frown upside down!

Force yourself to consciously smile more.  When you are driving in the car, smile.  When you are walking through the grocery store, smile.  When you are losing your mind at work, smile! You may have to physically force it sometimes by using your fingers to push your frown up… but do it! People will look at you and wonder what you are smiling at…that is your secret! You’ll change your own mood, and the moods of others around you one smile at a time.

Monday doesn’t have to suck!

If the thought of waking up to your current job on Monday morning gives you an anxious feeling in your stomach, you need to do something about it! Perhaps you need to look for another job… one that you are excited to wake up to every day! Perhaps the very thought of having ANY job starts your palms sweating! Remember that thoughts are things.  Mondays can be amazing if you are doing what you love, or if you change your mindset and start loving what you already do! You have all the power you need in your own head to make Mondays your favorite day.   Change is good, so go ahead and have a Happy Monday, starting today!

Thursday Tip

Are you always rushing in the morning? Do you find you just never have enough time for breakfast, or anything else in the morning? You need to get up earlier! Set your alarm for 1 hour earlier than it is set for now.  Get up when the alarm goes off, and get ready to go! You will feel an incredible sense of calmness when you add this time, and it will start your day off positively.  You will have time for breakfast, reading your book, sneaking in some exercise (running or yoga), or catching up on emails.  You may need to adjust your bedtime a little so that you are still getting adequate sleep, but your body will adjust within 2 days! Enjoy the quiet of your house before everyone else gets up, and revel in the magic of the sunrise every morning.  Namaste!
